Hi,
I created a small, personal web-based application, so that I can follow the South Carolina laws of 3rd option homeschooling. I like for my kids to follow their interests, and not be forced to absorb materials, but since it's a law here for us to document their reading, writing, math, science, and social studies 180 days a year, I went ahead and made this application to handle a lot of the stuff for me.
I basically just have a web-form, that has entry boxes for each of those subjects, for each of my children. I fill it out each day (180 days a year) and submit it, and it gets stored in a database, and automatically dated.
I've tried a few other ways, like an Excel spreadsheet, a handwritten journal, and they are all just a pain. This new way is much easier and can be accessed from anywhere I have an Internet connection.
I was thinking about expanding on it, and making it multi-user, so that others can use the service.
It still needs some work, like on the reporting side, but I have to do it anyway.
If anyone would be interested in using such a system, please let me know, as it would help motivate me to get it done.
It would, of course, be free to use.

How can a homeschool student qualify for college scholarships? We successfully homeschool but don't know how to obtain scholarships. We know of traditional students who have obtained scholarships for their ACT scores and musical achievements and basketball achievementments. What are available for homeschool students?
